Milton takes part in national Culture Days

The Milton Culture Days, a presentation of Arts Milton, are coming up fast.

Culture Days takes place in communities all over Canada during a three-day period. A number of events will be happening, including musical performances, art displays, theatre productions and dance exhibitions.

The majority of events in Milton will be held at the First Ontario Arts Centre. Guests will enjoy behind-the-scenes tours and hands-on activities. There will be craft activities, family yoga sessions, a tech petting zoo and musical crafts with Famizuu.

Musical acts such as the Milton Concert Band and Sarah Mills will be performing. There will be demonstrations of metal stamping, painting and other art skills. In addition, there are set to be cooking classes for children, a wordplay workshop and a cosplay (costume) masquerade. The Milton Players Theatre will also be giving a performance.

There will be artists at work demonstration various techniques; those on site include Barbara Ariss-Stroh-Wasser and Aparna Rangnekar.

This event is sure to attract a number of people from Milton and surrounding areas. To help spread the word about such events, local print shops are often asked to provide items such as flyers, brochure and various other printed items.

Milton Culture Days will be held this weekend, from Friday to Sunday (September 28 to 30) at the First Ontario Arts Centre. Admission is free.
