Market offers unique gifts for lovers of comic culture

The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo Holiday Market is taking place for two days next month.

This will be an opportunity to pick up some unique gifts for family, friends, and co-workers, featuring a large representation of Calgary comic book vendors on hand to sell their merchandise. In addition, vendors will also be selling comic book-related collectibles, graphic novels, memorabilia, and costumes. Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite cosplay character.

During the weekend, guests will be able to commission art work in Artists Alley, purchase one of their readymade works of art, or witness a demonstration of the artist’s craft.

Those attending will also have the chance to vote for their favorite Christmas tree; several trees will be decorated in various popular culture and science-fiction themes.

VIP passes are available for $40. This includes two days’ admission to the market, a Christmas sweater and a Christmas ornament.

No doubt many fans of science fiction, fantasy, and comic books will be interested in attending this event. To help advertise, organizers often contact Calgary stationery printers to order printed products.

The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo Holiday Market will be held at BMO Centre from December 1 to 2. One-day tickets are $10 each. To learn more about this event, go to the official website.
