Luncheon adds another name to the Business Hall of Fame

The Induction Luncheon for the Burnaby Business Hall of Fame is taking place next month. It is a presentation of the Burnaby Board of Trade and the City of Burnaby.

The company being added to the Hall of Fame this year will be Charlie’s Chocolate Factory. Winners of this award have had great business success and have also contributed much to the community.

This will be an important networking opportunity for both board members and the general business community. Guests will have plenty of chances to exchange their business cards with their fellow Burnaby business leaders both before and after lunch.

In addition to the induction ceremony, the finalists for the Burnaby Business Excellence Awards will be announced. The award presentation is set to take place on November 1. Burnaby business leaders will compete for nine awards, including Burnaby Community Spirit, Environmental Sustainability, Healthy Workplace, Business of the Year, and Business Innovation. This will also be an important networking event for the Burnaby business community.

The Burnaby Business Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon will be held at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown on October 2 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. Tickets are $59 for Burnaby Board of Trade Members and $89 for nonmembers; tables for eight are also available.
