The 2017 charity golf tournament will be held again this month, in support of prostate cancer research.

This two-day event begins with a Gala Social Evening this Sunday, June 25 at the Lexus of London Showroom. The reception includes live music, celebrity hosts and entertainment, as well as both live and silent auctions. Approximately 500 hundred people are expected to attend.

The golf tournament is held on Monday, June 26 at the Oaks Golf and Country Club. Over 200 golfers will spend the day on the golf course, followed by a cocktail reception and an awards dinner.

Several sponsorship packages are available in support of prostate cancer research. Most packages include business acknowledgement on all flyer, program and banner printing, as well as digital media features and promotional products. Following the event, all sponsors are thanked in a full-page, full-colour ad featured in the London Free Press.

Statistics show that over 700 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each day in Canada. The Lexus of London Golf Classic has raised nearly $1.3m in research funding for the London Health Sciences Centre.

The Best of London Golf Awards voted the 16th annual competition as their favorite charity tournament. Last year’s event was a resounding success thanks to all the volunteers, donors, sponsors and participants.
