Local museum provides March Break fun

February 16, 2018 by

Maple Magic is taking place in Mississauga for nine-days during March Break.

The event will introduce children and their parents to the story of maple. There will be interactive learning stations with lots of hands-on activities, oversized family games and a petting zoo. Guests can also enjoy samples of maple treats or shop for souvenirs in the gift shop. There will also be a Maple Trivia Trail to follow and tours of Historic Bradley House.

In addition to Maple Magic, the museum will be showing the exhibit ‘Voices from the Engraver’, which is presented in association with the Bank of Canada Museum. It features Canadian stamps and banknotes with demonstrations of the creative processes. Interactive activities will allow visitors to make their own copies of the banknotes, and will show the public the skill and artistry involved in the creation of paper money and stamps.

Mississauga print companies are often asked to provide advertising materials for upcoming events such as these.

Maple Magic will be on display at the Bradley Museum from March 10 to 18 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm each day. The Voices from the Engraver exhibit will run from March 7 to May 24.

Admission to the museum is $7.80 for adults and $6.24 for children; a family pass is available for $19.50. Call 905-615-4860 for more information.
