Livestock Niagara brings fresh music and art to the region

July 18, 2017 by

The 3rd annual Livestock Niagara music and art festival is scheduled for later this month.

Livestock Niagara is a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing an opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent. Music is a big component of the festival, with 40 bands from St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and the surrounding region, scheduled to perform on stage.

The festival will also include visual artists and artisan vendors, who will have their work on display in an outdoor art gallery. There will also be an outdoor health and wellness centre, featuring yoga and meditation. A new attraction for this season, the festival will also include seven craft beer vendors.

Sponsors are needed for this event, which is an excellent way of promoting a company’s service or product to the public. Participation may include the distribution of postcards or personalized corporate gifts during the event. Contact rafik@livestockniagara.com for more information.

Volunteers are also needed to make this event successful. An application can be found on the festival website at http://www.livestockniagara.com/. Students may be able to use these hours towards their community service high school diploma requirement.

The 2017 Livestock Niagara festival will be held on Saturday July 22nd, from 11:00 am to 2:00 am. It is located in Niagara Falls at 4680 Queen St. A shuttle bus from St. Catharines will be provided by Niagara Craft Brewery Tours. This is a free event for all ages.
