Leduc holiday market seeking vendors

October 31, 2017 by

The city of Leduc will be playing host to an annual event that marks the start of the winter holiday season, and it is seeking businesses and other vendors that may be interested in taking part.

The Festival of Trees Christmas Market is expected to draw a crowd of thousands, who will come out to browse through the handcrafted items and other products on offer. It will be held at the same time as the Adam Myers Hockey Tournament, which means it could potentially attract shoppers who have come in from across the country to take part in the tournament. Organizers noted that the date was selected because it is at the time when many people start their holiday shopping.

Market vendors will be able to come to the venue between 2:00pm and 6:00pm the day before the function is set to open to the public. This way, they will have time to get everything ready. Any food vendors will need to have their station set up for inspection by a representative of Alberta Health Services on the Saturday morning before the doors open. An area printer can provide branded labels and other packaging supplies to the vendors who take part in a craft market like this.

The festival and market will be held in the Leduc Recreation Centre on November 18th and 19th. More information and a vendor application can be found on the community’s website.
