Tickets are on sale now for the annual Hearts and Heroes fundraiser happening in February, in support of the Leduc Learning Inclusion Networking X-cellence (LINX) Connect Centre.

This unique and worthwhile way to celebrate Valentine’s Day will please your sweetheart and help support a worthwhile cause. The LINX Connect Centre provides important day programs and residential support services for adults living with all kinds of developmental disabilities.

The 2018 Hearts and Heroes evening includes dinner, music and dancing, plus an exciting silent auction. All proceeds from the silent auction will help fund the programs and services that play an important role in helping adults living with these kinds of disabilities to reach their personal goals. Services offered by the centre include employment preparation and placement, outreach and community access programs, plus support and respite home availability. Brochures and calendars detailing the services offered may be available from the centre.

The LINX Connect Centre is also seeking volunteers to fill various positions in their centre. Those interested in offering their services should contact the Day Program Manager, Andrew Giebelhaus by email at linxday@linxconnect.ca or by calling the centre at 780-980-9423.

The Hearts and Heroes fundraiser will be held on Saturday February 10th from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at the Executive Royal Hotel located at 8450 Sparrow Drive. Tickets cost $50 each and can be purchased on the event website.
