Jazz makes a smooth return to Regina

Jazz Fest Regina is taking place over five days next month in the city.

There will be a total of six performances to be held over the five days by world-renowned jazz artists at various venues throughout the city. Each concert begins at 6:00 PM and ticket prices vary.

The first will be a concert by John Roney, which will take place at the Education Auditorium at the University of Regina. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. The next night is set to feature The New Montagues at the Bushwacker Brew Pub. Tickets will be $15 each.

There will also be concerts by Al Muirhead at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel, the Eric Alexander and Harold Mabern Quartet also at the Hilton, and the Carol Weisman Duo at Le Bistro during the five-day festival.

A special Father’s Day Brunch is also planned for the festival, held at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel on June 17. The Regina Jazz Orchestra will be performing and tickets are $40 in advance or $35 at the door.

No doubt a Regina poster printing company has been asked to provide advertising for this popular annual festival.
