Horse industry fair gallops into Saskatoon

January 26, 2018 by

The official Saskatchewan Equine Expo will return to Prairieland Park, Saskatoon, with the latest technology and merchandise the industry has to offer.

The 6th annual Expo will offer events showcasing excellence in horsemanship, technological developments in the industry, riding lessons, and a rider’s clinic, plus a diverse selection of breeds on display.

The Western College of Veterinary Medicine will give presentations on maintaining the health of horses, and the Saskatchewan Horse Federation will present educational programming for the youth in attendance.

The Expo will also include a Trade Show, featuring over 50,000 square feet of equine suppliers, breed associations, horse clubs, home décor and Western art. Applications for Trade Show space are still being accepted.

A full color Show Guide will be used during the event. The guide may feature industry news and advertisements relevant to the horse industry, and is the sort of item often put together with the help of a local printing company.

This quality event has quickly become a tradition in the equine community of Saskatchewan. The Expo invites everyone to attend on February 15 to 18, including horse owners and those thinking of purchasing their first horse. Professionals in the industry including trainers and veterinarians, as well as amateur enthusiasts will enjoy the fair as well. New ticket pricing for 2018 includes a Special Family Rate of $45 plus GST. Full ticket pricing and event details are available on the website.
