Halifax fans of the fantasy, gothic and steampunk genres may wish to save the date for an upcoming event that will feature lots of items that may catch their interest.

Have Yourself a Gothic Little Christmas, which will be held in the Maritime Hall in the Halifax Forum will include a variety of anime, steampunk, and Victorian-themed content, as well as plenty of ‘geekery’. The works of local artists will also be on display, including some that are new to the event.

The organizers noted that the expo will be showcasing a wide assortment of one-of-a-kind items, and many of them will be locally designed and produced. It will be co-hosted by the Jules Verne Phantastical Society, and it is being brought to the city courtesy of the support from Plan B, SenseN Sensibilities and The Emerald Cauldron, as well as the Neighborhood Witch.

Tickets for this event are being offered at a price of $5.00. They can be purchased in advance, and will also be available at the door. Digital printers will be able to craft any printed materials such as banners, flyers, signs and packing supplies that may be needed for an event like this.

This salute to the city’s steampunk, gothic and geeky side will be taking place on December 2 and 3. It will be held in the Halifax Forum. Anyone who would like to know more has been asked to visit the event’s listing.
