Gala celebrates five decades of excellence

The Garden Unlocked gala is taking place next month in Calgary, and will be a fundraiser for Theatre Calgary, while also celebrating the organization’s 50th anniversary.

Guests are encouraged to dress in masquerade formal, which can include masks and costumes. The evening will start off with ‘Bubbles beyond the gate’; guests will be served a glass of Prosecco as they enter the gala. This will be followed by a three-course sit-down dinner in the garden. During the evening there will also be live entertainment as well as live and silent auctions. All entertainment will be programmed by Theatre Calgary’s Artistic Director, Stafford Arima.

Those who want to do more to help Theatre Calgary can purchase philanthropist tables of eight for $5,000. They will be recognized both at the event and in all printed advertising, and will be provided with premium seating.

To help advertise fundraising events like this, organizers often invest in marketing materials such as brochures and booklets obtained from a Calgary stationery printing firm. These items can then be distributed either through the mail or as inserts in local newspapers.

The Garden Unlocked gala will be held at The Hudson on April 7 from 5:30 to 10:30 PM. Tickets are $300 per person and tables for 10 are available. To learn more about this event, or about Theatre Calgary, call 403-294-7440.
