Food and Wine Festival returns to Halifax

January 8, 2018 by

The 15th annual Savour Food and Wine Festival will return in February, uniting some of Nova Scotia’s best winemakers, chefs, mixologists and brewers for an incredible five night experience.

The festivities begin with Imbibe, a cocktail event on Thursday February 1st, where talented mixologists will create over 30 sample size drinks throughout the evening. Gourmet desserts and unique wine pairings will be found at the Decadence event on Thursday February 8th. Wine lovers will rejoice as they sample exceptional wine choices while listening to jazz music at the Rare and Fine Wine evening on Friday February 16th. The Halifax Convention Centre will host the fourth evening called the Savour Food and Wine Show on Thursday February 22nd. This event will sample over 100 of the province’s best restaurants, wines and cocktails. A Craft Beer Cottage Party on Saturday March 3rd is the final event in the series, where ticket holders can lounge on Adirondack chairs as they sample uniquely made beers.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for these events, and may include company logo placements on signs and brochures used during the events and distribution of promotional products in loot bags. More information on sponsorship is available on the festival website or by contacting the Executive Director, Gordon Stewart.

All the events are hosted by The Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia, in support of Feed Nova Scotia and the Izaak Walton Killam (IWK) Foundation.

Tickets range in price from $65 to $169 plus HST, depending on the evening. All festivals offer special hotel packages and attendees must be 19 years of age and older. Full ticket and event details can be found on the event website.
