The second annual Campbelltown Wellness Day returns in March, to raise funds in support of the local school.

After a successful day of sessions in 2017, the Wellness Day returns this year with another schedule of workshops designed to embrace everyone’s idea of a healthy lifestyle. The day promises to bring ample opportunities to learn something new, experience personal growth and share a laugh with a new friend.

The day is in support of the student council at Ecole Campbelltown, a French immersion school with approximately 500 students in kindergarten through to grade six.

The lineup of workshops will allow participants to select the topics that interest them the most. Everyone is welcome to join in for a single workshop, or attend the full-day program that includes three seminars and lunch. Examples of sessions offered are:

– Yoga for Back Pain
– Everyday Mindfulness
– Keep Calm and Manage Stress
– Beating Bullying: Developing Empathy in Kids
– Understanding How to Dress Your Body Type
– Stay Active and Age Gracefully

Presentation folders and follow-up class calendars may be distributed during the seminars. Complete information on the workshops and their respective guest speakers can be found on the website.

The Wellness Day will be held on Saturday, March 10 at the school, located on 271 Conifer Street. Tickets cost $20 for a single workshop or $50 for the full-day event, which includes lunch.
