The North Delta Family Day festival is taking place next month in Delta.

A presentation of the North Delta Lions Club, the festival is set to start off with the 51st annual parade at 11:00 AM, which will run until 1:00 PM. The parade will begin at Burnsview Secondary School and travel along 112 St. and 84 Avenue finishing off at the North Delta Community Park. It will feature marching bands, vintage vehicles, local youth groups, businesses and many other participants. The parade is open to everyone and applications are still being accepted.

Once the parade is over, the festival will begin in the park from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. There will be children’s games, amusements rides, and bouncy castles, along with a dunk tank, hypnotist and musical entertainment. There is also set to be a barbecue and guests can purchase such foods as salmon, hot dogs and chicken.

Delta flyer printing companies are often asked to provide materials to advertise family-friendly events like this. Any flyers produced can then easily and inexpensively be distributed in the city.

The North Delta Family Day festival will be held at North Delta Community Park on Sunday, June 24 from 11:00 to 4:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. Contact the North Delta Lions Club at 604-763-7251 for more information.
