Festival has lots to offer to North Vancouver residents

The Lynn Valley Days festival is taking place for three days this month. The festival is presented by the Lynn Valley Lions.

It is set to kick off with the 8th Lynn Valley Gala on June 15, beginning at 5:30 PM and lasting until midnight. This is a fundraiser for the event and guests will be treated to wine, dinner and dancing. They will also be able to bid on a silent auction.

The festival will start off the next morning with a pancake breakfast, and next will be the always popular parade. The parade starts at Lynn Valley Road and Mollie Nye Way and makes its way to Lynn Valley Park. Parade participants often hand out candy and other gifts to spectators.

At Lynn Valley Park there will be plenty of activities to please the entire family. The will include amusement rides, Maypole dancing, bouncy castles, face painting and a beer garden. Various community organizations will also be on hand to provide the public with information about their programs and services. A Retro Movie Night is also planned.

North Vancouver flyer printing firms are often asked to provide printed materials to help advertise such events.

Lynn Valley Days will take place at Lynn Valley Park from June 16 to 18. Admission is free. Visit the Lynn Valley Lions webpage for more information.
