Farmers’ Market to host a couple of spring events

March 28, 2013 by

The Cambridge Farmers’ Market is open year-round and hosts several special events during the year. This spring, two of those events will be Easter at the Market and Earth Day at the Market.

Coming up this weekend, ‘Easter at the Market’ will feature Easter crafts, an Easter egg hunt for children, a gift certificate hunt for adults, and vendors will be carrying Easter-related products. It will be a great way to celebrate the season and to pick up some Easter gifts for friends and family.

After that, ‘Earth Day at the Market’ will include a draw for a free rain barrel, information on how to be water-wise, and children’s activities such as creating their own chia pet. The Cambridge City Green Booth will provide cleaning supplies for those who wish to take part in the Cambridge Community Cleanup Day.

Printing companies in Cambridge will no doubt be helping the organizers prepare for these events. Items such as banners and signs can be used to draw attention to various areas and activities. Many of the information booths will also probably want to provide informative literature in the form of booklets or brochures.

Easter at the Market will take place on March 30, while Earth Day at the Market will take place on April 20 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. The Cambridge Community Cleanup Day will also take place on April 20 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. For more information on any of these events, contact Alix Aitken at 519-740-4680 x4252.
