Expo showcases hundreds of local businesses

The 2017 Business Expo is taking place this month, presented by the Greater Kitchener Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph Chambers of Commerce.

Over 200 exhibitors are expected to participate in this year’s expo. The tables, which are either 8 or 10-feet, have all been sold out to businesses and entrepreneurs from Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and Guelph.

These tables will provide information on products and services. It is likely that some of the vendors will be handing out free promotional products such as pens and fridge magnets to those who stop by their tables, thus keeping the company name in the minds of those who receive them.

Local restaurants and caterers will be on hand to provide food and drink samples to those in attendance. There are also set to be several food drawings.

This is one of the biggest networking events in the area, and is an opportunity for local small businesses to meet their peers and to forge new partnerships. Sponsorships are also available for purchase from companies that will be unable to attend themselves.

The Business Expo will be held at Bingemans on October 17 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. Admission is free to the public. For more information about this event, or to become a sponsor, contact Teri Egerdeen of the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce at 519-749-6048.
