The Calgary Marketing Association will be launching its new Panel and Power Hour series for marketing personnel of all skill levels.

Called ‘The Changing Role of the Marketer’, the seminar will examine the growing expectations placed on the marketing team within organizations. It deals with the way that continuously evolving consumer behaviors from the influence of technology and the changing marketplace has impacted the role of the marketer and his or her importance to the corporate landscape.

Attendees will be able to listen and learn from the panel of experts, as well as discuss the top challenges they will face in 2018, and brainstorm solutions with other participants. Marketing services may be discussed, including the role of graphic design and logo design.

Designed for marketers of all skill levels, the entry level attendees will have the opportunity to learn areas anticipating future growth and offering job opportunities. Midlevel marketers will discover how to use their strengths to conquer the evolving marketing atmosphere and launch their careers. Senior marketers will discover how to prevent burnout and manage the changes they face daily more effectively.

The event will be held on Wednesday, February 7 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown, located at 711 4th Street South East.

The seminar has been organized by the hub of Calgary’s marketing community, the Calgary Marketing Association, the mandate of which is to educate and connect the marketing community in the city.
