Event planned with Brampton comic lovers in mind

Brampton ComiCon will be bringing together aficionados of comics in an event that will give them a chance to immerse themselves in pop culture.

The Century Gardens Recreation Centre will be the venue for this inaugural event, and several special guest artists have been engaged to participate. Other VIP guests will include Ryan Woods and T. Gregory Argall, and there will also be local talent participating.

The daylong event will run for seven hours, and along with the artists and other creative talent, there will be an assortment of vendors on hand who will be selling everything from comics, anime, and pop culture items to cosplay gear, artwork and many other products. The occasion will be cosplay friendly, so anyone who wants to wear their costume is welcome to do so.

The planners noted that the event will be very family friendly, and all ages are welcome. There are also opportunities available for anyone who would like to lend a hand by volunteering during the function A local printer will be able to provide logo design and other print and marketing services for this type of gathering.

This celebration of comics and the people who enjoy them will be held on June 17, starting at 10:00 am. Tickets start at $4.43 each, and they can be purchased ahead of time through the event’s website.
