The 2nd annual ‘I Heart Beer and Bacon Show’ is taking place in Guelph at the end of this month.

The event will showcase the product of over 20 Ontario breweries, cideries and distilleries as well as the food of more than 10 local restaurants. The food provided by the vendors will not be bacon alone, with vegetarian options available too. There will also be glass rinsing stations and plenty of places to fill up a water bottle.

Tickets include four sampling tokens and an official mug; extra tokens can be purchased at the event or through a mobile application.

In addition to food and drink there will be plenty of fun activities, such as several foosball tables, giant and mini Jenga and a 32-team pong tournament. Guests can also pose for pictures in a photo booth.

This event is good advertising for local restaurants and a fine way to introduce the public to the many different beers and other drinks produced locally. No doubt many Guelph residents will find out about it due to print advertising provided by a local printing services company.

The event will be held at the Sleeman Centre on April 28 from 4:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $30 each and admission is restricted to adults aged 19 and over. Visit the Facebook event page to learn more.
