Downsview Park hosts culinary celebration

June 2, 2017 by

The first annual Foodalicious Food Festival will be held at Downsview Park this month.

A new event organized by Superior Events Group, Inc. is set to become an annual family favorite. Some of Toronto’s most popular food trucks will be on site, plus live music and shows, carnival games, and inflatables.

The event will be a unique opportunity to try the many different tastes and flavors offered by a variety of food trucks, including Johnny Roccos Pizza Wagon, Ontario Corn Roasters, Mustache Burger and Busters Sea Cove.

The live music and shows will be performed by local entertainers, such as The Party Band, DJ Junior, Arcadia Rocks and Crooked Zebra.

The event will also be a great occasion for local businesses seeking an opportunity to promote themselves. Several sponsorship packages are available, all of which include flyer circulation. Promotional products, including drinkware and custom pens, could also be distributed.

This event will also be an exciting volunteer opportunity for locals ages 16 and up. Organizers will provide a letter of recommendation for successful volunteers that are seeking employment. High school students may use the volunteer hours towards their community service requirement.

Superior Events Group is known for organizing popular events in and around the GTA, including the Downsview Park Rib Fest and the Toronto Pumpkin Fest.

Taking place on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11, general admission is $5 and children ages 12 and under are free. Parking is also free. For full event details, please see the Foodalicious Official website.
