Markham fundraiser to help those fleeing domestic violence

December 30, 2017 by

Markham’s Yellow Brick House is planning its signature fundraiser for 2018, and it promises to be both an elegant and informative evening.

The Yellow Brick House 2018 Gala will serve as a fundraiser to help those who are affected by domestic violence. It will open with a cocktail reception where the guests can meet and mingle, and this will be followed by a plated dinner. There will also be remarks from the guest speaker, presentation of the organization’s 2018 Corporate Commitment Award and a live auction is also on the agenda for the occasion.

The event’s organizers are offering the area’s business community an opportunity to act as sponsors for the function, and there are several levels of sponsorship opportunities available. Each will give companies a chance to have their name, branding and other details seen by a wide audience, while at the same time, they will be helping those who are fleeing violence in their home.

The ticket prices for the function begin at $200 each. Tables of eight are also available, and the price for these has been set at $1,600. A printer that crafts personalized corporate gifts will be able to supply awards and other items for use during a fundraiser like this.

This gala affair has been planned for March 2nd, and it will be taking place in the Le Parc Banquet Hall. More information for both those who wish to attend or who are interested in sponsoring the occasion can be found on the Yellow Brick House website.
