A Coquitlam area market that offers everything from freshly harvested produce to live entertainment, and lots of activities for young and old alike, will soon be back for another season, and the public is invited to check it out for themselves.

The Port Coquitlam Farmers Market will be opening its gates late this spring for its 2018 season, and each week will see it have a different theme with specially selected offerings. Its event tent will be set up, and the Chef at the Market initiative will be back for another year.

The vendors who will be setting up shop range from fruit and veggie producers to cheese makers, apiarists, bakers, jam and pickle makers, and also those who craft wines, spirits, beer or cider. Local crafters and artisans will also have booths set up to browse through, and there will be other participants as well.

The market will be held each Thursday afternoon and evening, and will open at 3:00 pm. It is located in Leigh Square, which can be found next to City Hall. A local printer can be counted on to supply letterheads and any other printed materials needed by the organizers of an event like this.

The Port Coquitlam Farmers market will open its gates for the 2018 season on June 7. Its official website can be consulted for more information and a full list of weekly events.
