The BioProducts AgSci Cluster Conference is taking place next month in Mississauga, and is presented by Bioindustrial Canada.

The conference is aimed at professionals in the industry and will have speakers from various agriculture companies and Agri-Food Canada in attendance. There will be information about the future outlook and trends in the industry, as well as updates on current programs. Among those speaking will be Charlie Lalonde, Lin P’ing Choo-Smith and Paul Stuart.

Topics of discussion will include biomass sourcing and supply and the role of agriculture in clean tech and low carbon. There will also be a question and answer session. In addition, several companies will be showcasing their new products and services.

Registration fees include a lunch and a networking reception beginning at 4:00 PM. Both will give attendees the opportunity to briefly discuss their business.

This event will bring together professionals from all over the province and likely the country. With that in mind, it is likely that many of those planning to travel to Mississauga will be bringing along their premium business cards to exchange with their peers.

The BioProducts AgScience Cluster Conference will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton Toronto Airport on March 14 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Registration fees are $250. For more information about the conference or about registering, call 226-778-0020.
