This year, the Toronto neighborhood of Scarborough will be celebrating Canada’s birthday in style, and the organizers of this day of activities is inviting one and all to join in the festivities.

This two-day celebration will mark the nation’s 150th birthday, and there will be plenty to see and do. Local performers will be taking to the stage to entertain the crowd, and there will be lots of different food to enjoy as well.

There will be an assortment of hands on family friendly activities, and community vendors will also be on show with displays for the public to browse through. A kid’s zone will be available for the younger guests, dance and drum workshops will be set up and much more. Wide format printing can be used to craft banners, signs, promotional posters and a range of other items for a large function such as this.

There will be plenty of free parking for festival on both days, and there will be no entry fee charged to take part in any of the activities. This event is brought to the neighborhood courtesy of the Heritage Skills Development Centre, and will take place on July 16th and 17th in Albert Campbell Square. Anyone who would like to find out more about the scheduled activities can do so on the event’s listing.
