A special guest will be speaking at a luncheon planned by the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce, and both members and non-members are welcome to attend.

The General Manager of Planning and Economic Development for the City of Hamilton, Jason Thorne, will be the guest speaker at the event, which will be taking place at Liuna Gardens. Councillors Chad Collins, Doug Conley and Maria Pearson will also be in attendance, and the local business and not-for-profit community are invited to participate.

Thorne will be discussing the changes that are on the way for Hamilton and the surrounding communities, and according to the organizers, Stoney Creek is the one that may well be experiencing the greatest change. The occasion is being hosted as part of the Chamber’s Luncheon Speaker Series, and the tickets are being offered at a price of $45 for members and $55 for those who are not a member of the organization. Digital copying can be used by a local printer to produce high-quality programs and other materials for use during this type of occasion.

Hamilton Economic Development and McHugh Whitmore, LLP are acting as sponsors for the luncheon, and it will be held on March 23 at 526 Winona Rd. Anyone who requires further details about the function or who like to purchase tickets is invited to visit the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce’s website.
