Chilliwack holiday market to be a festive affair

November 3, 2018 by

An event that has been planned in the spirit of the season that will give residents of Chilliwack a chance to find something for everyone on their list while enjoying food, entertainment, and an assortment of other activities.

This pop-up style market, which will raise funds in support of The Full Cupboard, will showcase handmade goods as well as the works of local artisans, bakers, and chefs. Admission is free for both vendors and shoppers, although donations will be collected for the event’s charity of choice.

The Eats and Treats Market will have lots to offer all ages. The kids can meet Santa in person, and there will also be face painting and crafting stations set up where they can flex their creative muscles. The adults in the crowd can do some browsing and buying, and all ages will be welcome to enjoy some of the treats that will be on offer.

Any members of Chilliwack’s artistic community that would like to be a part of this festive occasion can obtain further details by contacting johanne.rene@twinmaple.com. Local print shops will be able to supply banners, business cards, labels, and any other marketing materials that can help a business to make the most from participating in an event like this.

This year, the Annual Eats and Treats Christmas Market will be held in The Farm Store in Yarrow. It will open its doors to shoppers at 10:00 am on December 8.
