Chilliwack evening will celebrate local beer and wine

An event centred around beer and wine will take place in Chilliwack in February.

The land in and around the city is highly productive, and one of the crops grown in the region is grapes, many of which are transformed into wine. A selection of these will be in the spotlight during the 10th annual Valley Wine Festival, and it promises to be an exciting night for local wine lovers.

The evening will showcase both craft beer and wine, and these will be accompanied by a large assortment of gourmet bites. The Jazz Bandits will keep guests entertained throughout the occasion.

The Surestay Hotel by Best Western is hosting the festival and it is offering a special room rate for attendees to take advantage of. Tickets for the festival can be purchased on their own or as a package that includes a night in the hotel.

While the event may be all about fun, it also has a higher purpose, as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Rock Out Cancer. Posters can effectively promote an occasion like this to the local community, and these can be sourced from local print shops.

Admission to the Valley Wine Festival is $75.00, and this includes all food and drinks and it will be held on February 16th.
