The 3rd annual Leduc Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is taking place soon in nearby Nisku. The event is a presentation of the Leduc Minor Baseball Association and the Leduc Sports Hall of Fame.

The ceremony will be emceed by Jason Gregory, a talk show host on TSN 1260 radio. Guests will enjoy a sit-down dinner as well as the induction ceremony.

This year, there will be four former sports figures inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame. They are Bob McGill who was a former NHL player and later became a sports broadcaster, philanthropist Kay McGill (Bob’s mother), Ray McKay who was also an NHL player and founded Ray McKay Hockey Inc., and track and field star Vicky Lynch Pounds who represented Canada in the Commonwealth and Pan Am Games.

This event will no doubt attract many business and community leaders who will have the opportunity to network during the evening. To advertise events like this, Leduc print shops are often asked to provide flyers and other printed materials to be distributed in the community.

The Leduc Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held at the Nisku Inn and Conference Centre this Saturday, November 3, from 5:30 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $75 each and tables of eight are available. Call 780-980-7177 for more information.
