The 4th annual Edmonton International Cat Show is taking place this month. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Edmonton Humane Society, Little Cats Lost and Zoe’s Animal Rescue.

There will be plenty of things going on that will please all cat lovers. There will be show cats on display, kitty play pens and mazes, and pop-up cat yoga. There will also be a cat-themed escape room called the Litter-ary Cat-astrophe, board games to play, face painting and a LEGO storytime. In addition, there will be many cats available to be adopted.

The winners of the Mr. and Mrs. Purr-fect photo contest winners will be announced and prizes awarded. Specials guests will be Travis Des Laurier and social media cat stars Nala and Coffee.

Guests can attend presentations where they will learn about topics such as cat safety and how to be the best cat owner.

There will also be vendors on sale selling cat-related merchandise such as toys and accessories. Many of the vendors will no doubt be handing out items such as promotional pens and fridge magnets obtained from Edmonton print companies.

The Edmonton International Cat Show will be held at MacEwan University on May 26 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is $15 per person. For more information, visit the event Facebook page.
