The 39th annual International Mustang Meet is taking place for four days in Leduc beginning on the last day of this month. It is presented by the Alberta Mustang Owners Association.

The theme of this year’s event is

“Revving it up again” and it will feature Mustangs and special interest Fords from the United States and Canada. Registration costs $45 per vehicle and participants will be competing to be named best in categories such as Mustang Shelby class and Special Interest Fords and Trucks. An awards banquet will be held on the last day of the meet where trophies and prizes will be handed out; tickets are $45 each.

There will be plenty of car-related activities taking place over the four-day event including a social reception, a show and shine, and tours of Shelby Canada West and Bodnar’s Museum. There will also be a Drag Racing Castrol Raceway where the public can register to participate in for $40, an evening barbecue that costs $20 and a farewell breakfast.

Organizers of events like this often contact Leduc print shops to provide them with signage and advertising products.

The International Mustang Meet will be held at the Executive Royal Hotel from August 31 to September 3. To learn more about this event or to register a vehicle, call 780-975-7076.
