Calgary food festival set to fire up local taste buds

Foodies from all over will be heading to Calgary late this summer to participate in an occasion that will offer a feast for the taste buds, and all the other senses as well.

The planners of Calgary Food Fest will be bringing together more than a dozen food trucks that operate in the city with entertainment and other fun to create an event that will offer something for everyone. All ages are welcome, and admission to the event will be free of charge.

While the food will be the star of the show, there will also be music and other live entertainment, as well as inflatables where the festival’s younger guests can burn off some energy. A market expo with a variety of vendors will also be set up, and there will be several mascots on site as well to meet and interact with the kids.

The whole expo has been planned to be both fun and delicious, and the proceeds will be used by Sonshine Community Services to help fund its initiatives that aid the community’s people in need. Economical banner printing services for an occasion like this can be provided by a local print company.

This showcase of what the city’s mobile food service operators have to offer has been planned for September 8. It will be set up at 11400 27 Street SE.
