A Calgary fundraiser that has been successfully held for the past 11 years will be returning for 2018, and it organizers promise it will be even better than before.

The event will see teams of four take to the grass for some lawn bowling, and there will lots more going on as well. Burgers and drinks will be served, and it is expected that there will be lots of laughs and other excitement to be had.

Tickets for this afternoon of fun in the sun are on offer for $20 each, and team registration is also available. Those who plan on participating as part of a group are encouraged to come dressed in a team colour. A local provider of printing services will be able to supply an assortment of items that can be used as prizes for a function like this.

This occasion has been planned as a fundraiser for Beswick House, which provides support and services for those living with HIV or AIDS. The proceeds will be donated to help renovate the home so that it is more suitable for the needs of is residents.

August 12 has been chosen as the date for this afternoon of camaraderie in support of a cause. It will be held at the Inglewood Lawn Bowling Club, and is set to begin at 12:30 pm and run until 4:00 pm.
