Burnaby museum planning fun-filled holiday season

Burnaby’s Village Museum provides a look into its past, and residents and visitors alike are welcome to experience a taste of days gone by during its vintage-themed holiday celebrations.

The museum will once again be hosting its Heritage Christmas celebration, which will run throughout the holiday season. Guests will be treated to an assortment of entertainment and interactive activities, and these are part of the city’s overall plans for the seasonal celebration.

The village will be decorated with evergreen wreaths, swags, and other vintage inspired décor. The bandstand will be open to visitors, and here, they will be invited to get creative by crafting their own combination of light and sound. A variety of performances have been scheduled throughout the month, and these will range from choral music to street performers.

The youngest guests at the festivities might be lucky enough to spot Father Christmas who will be coming to town to be a part of the celebration. Booklets that outline the different activities, as well as where and when they will be taking place, can be prepared for this sort of function by an area brochure printing company.

This year’s Heritage Christmas activities will begin on November 24 and will wind up on January 4. A full schedule of the events can be found on the Burnaby Village Museum website.
