Autism-friendly party on the way for Mississauga

Mississauga families who have a child or children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have been issued an invitation to attend a special party that has been planned just for them.

Thanks to the assistance of the Halton Regional Police and its other supporters, Autism Ontario has organized a holiday party for kids and parents alike. The morning will be filled with lots of holiday-themed excitement, and numerous activities have been planned.

The families who participate in the day will be able to enjoy a slice of pizza and a drink, and they will be able to burn off some energy while they have fun jumping in Air Riderz Trampoline Park. A balloonist will be on hand to make balloon animals and other art for the kids, and each child will receive a gift to take home with them. It is rumored that Santa himself may be stopping by, and the children will be welcome to spend some time with him if they wish. Pop-up banners that can be used over and over can be prepared for use during function like this.

This activity is only open to families with a child with an ASD, and their siblings will also be welcome It will be held in Air Riderz Trampoline Park, and registration is required for anyone who would like to participate.
