The 25th annual Arts Alive Festival is taking place this month in Langley. It is a presentation of the Downtown Langley Business Association.

The festival is set to feature over 200 visual and performing artists from Langley and nearby communities. Artists will be displaying and selling a variety of handmade items such as jewelry, sculpture, fine art and pottery. Some of the artists will also be giving demonstrations of their skills.

There will be a musical stage that will feature Ashley and Giddy Kizito, Clay Ravens, David Beckingham and Echo Nebraska.

The Children’s Fun Zone will feature plenty of free activities and games. Entertainment there will be provided by buskers Rossi Music and the Jessica Barbour Duo.

Salt Lane will feature more family-friendly entertainment and activities. It will also feature several vendors representing local businesses and entrepreneurs. There will also be food trucks, food from local restaurants and a beer garden.

It is likely that several of the vendors and artists who are participating in this Langley festival will invest in signage and banner printing services to draw attention to their booths.

The Arts Alive Festival will be held at McBurney Plaza on August 18 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. To learn more about this event, contact the Downtown Langley Business Association at 604-539-0133.
