Annual expo puts spotlight on local business

The 2018 Business Expo is taking place next month in Kitchener. It is a premium event of the Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph and Cambridge Chambers of Commerce.

The expo is expected to feature over 200 exhibitors who will be showcasing their newest products and services. Many of them will likely be handing out freebies such as pens and fridge magnets to people who choose to stop by their booths. Exhibit spaces are still available for the expo and are for members of the three chambers only. Costs are $330 for an 8-foot table and $350 for a 10-foot table.

In addition, local restaurants and caterers will be on hand to provide samples of their food and refreshments. There will also be a grand prize drawing.

This is an important networking event for all three Chambers of Commerce and is expected to attract at least 1,500 people.

To ensure they can keep in touch after a networking event, many of those attending from Kitchener and other communities will likely be placing a new business card printing order with their favorite printing company.

The Business Expo will be held at Bingemans on October 16 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. Admission is free of charge and it is open to the general public. For the most current information about this event, contact Aislynn Cooper at 519-749-6052.
