Annual expo plays part in Calgary Small Business Week

The Small Business Calgary Expo is taking place next month. A presentation of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, this event is just one of several that will be taking place during Small Business Week.

There will be 100 exhibitors on hand to showcase their latest products and services to their fellow business leaders. Guests will have access to a network app that will allow them to keep in touch with those who they meet during the daylong event.

There is set to be a digital tools show where guests can learn about the future of doing business in Calgary. There will be two keynote speeches held during the day – one by Kristen Wood of The Ten Spot and another from a yet-to-be-named speaker.

Admission to the expo is $20 for Chamber members and $40 for nonmembers. An Expo Plus pass is $75 for members or $150 for nonmembers. It includes access to the Academy, which is six learning sessions, and a luncheon.

It is likely that some of the exhibitors will be contacting Calgary stationery printers to order signage to make their booths more attractive.

The Small Business Calgary Expo will be held at the BMO Centre on October 18 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For more information, contact the Calgary Chamber of Commerce at 403-750-0400.
