The 15th annual New West Cultural Crawl is taking place next month over three days. It is a presentation of the Arts Council of New Westminster and the Van Dop Gallery.

The event attracted over 4,200 visitors last year. Over 150 artists are participating in this year’s crawl. They will be opening their studios to the public in all five New Westminster neighborhoods. There will also be a variety of galleries, museums and other local cultural organizations taking part.

The opening night gala will be held at the Anvil Centre on August 10 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Guests will get a sneak preview of participating artists and there will be a cash bar.

There will also be several special events taking place over the three-day festival. The Rainbow Reception and Revel will be held at the NWA and The Network Hub on August 11. It will feature art exhibits, musical entertainment, refreshments and a cash bar. On the same night, the Royal City Gogos and Friends will be performing at Unifor Hall from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The show is set to feature eight artists, ten artisans and 30 carved and painted paddles.

New Westminster stationery printers are often asked to provide maps or brochures to events like this.
