Annual conference brings together several chambers

The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce’s (SCC) annual conference is taking place next month in Regina.

This event attracts members of many chambers of commerce members from all over the province. It offers professional development and networking opportunities for business leaders.

The two-day conference will start off with a meeting of Saskatchewan chamber of commerce executives. This will be followed later in the day by a reception, which will feature dinner, a silent auction, and many chances to network with peers.

The next day begins with breakfast to be followed by speakers Gord Dobrowolsky, who will give a WCB update and representatives for SaskPower who will discuss energy efficiency programs. There will also be a luncheon, which will see the swearing in of the new SCC chairperson Patricia Warsaba. Lunch will also feature a talk about the political and economic landscape followed by a question and answer session. There will also be a silent auction.

There is no doubt that all of those attending this Regina conference will bring along their premium business cards to exchange with those they meet.

The SCC annual conference will be held at the Delta Regina Hotel from May 10 to 11. Fees are $225 or $50 for the luncheon only (tables for eight are available). For the latest information about this upcoming event, contact Elissa LaLiberte at 306-352-2671.
