Abbotsford holiday tradition back for another year

October 29, 2017 by

A fixture that has been a part of Abbotsford’s festive celebrations will once again be opening its doors to offer an assortment of holiday-themed items to the public.

Glenda’s Christmas Cottage will be back for its 29th year, and will be selling a wide variety of holiday décor. Tree ornaments, toppers and skirts will be available, and there will also be Department 56, Byers Choice Carollers and Snow Babies ornaments, lighting options and other decorations as well. The shop is only open for a short period of time, and throughout the weeks that it is in operation, it will be hosting a series of special themed events.

Throughout November and most of December, the public will be invited to attend festivities such as cookie decorating with Mr. and Mrs. Claus as well as a Department 56 Party, and it will also have a booth set up at the West Coast Christmas Show.

These special events will be open to all who are interested, and those who stop by the booth at the Christmas show will receive a free coupon for use in the store. Holiday cards and other items for a business such as this can be sourced from a local print services provider.

Glenda’s Christmas Cottage will be located at 4557 Mt. Lehman Road in Abbotsford. It will open on November 1st, and more information can be found on its website.
