A special Sunday planned for Markham

June 9, 2018 by

The Pride of Canada Carousel is a popular community attraction, and it has partnered with the City of Markham to offer a special afternoon of free of charge fun for local families.

The carousel, which is located at 8080 Birchmount Road in the neighborhood of Unionville, will be the location for a variety of activities that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. There will be popcorn to snack on, as well as games, crafts and other excitement. Along with all of this, there will be a chance to take in views of the different characters that are included in this public installation that combines art with a carnival style ride.

While the price for this ride is usually set at $2 each, during this special Sunday Funday celebration, there will be no charge. The festivities will run for four hours and will begin at 12:00 noon. Print shops in the local area can provide decorative banners and an assortment of promotional products for this type of community occasion.

This afternoon at the carousel will be taking place on July 29, and has been organized by Jesson and Co. Anyone who would like to find out more, or who has questions about the activities on offer, has been asked to contact (416) 323-7828 or visit the event’s website.
