A sneak peak at Print World 2012

Print companies in the Toronto and Mississauga areas will see a new group at the biennial Print World Trade Show and Conference running in Toronto this November. The print industry’s largest trade show and exhibitor will this year host its first ever Dscoop meeting (Digital Solutions Co-operative) at the industry-wide event.

Dscoop’s attendance will hopefully add a new dimension to the print trade show as well as expand the brand name in Canada. Dscoop, a cooperative of HP Graphics Arts users, hopes to attend and share practices at educational centers at the conference. The conference will be mostly targeted towards technical professionals and graphics arts business owners who use Scitex, HP Indigo, and related programs. Mississauga and Toronto print companies involved in graphic arts are urged to attend Dscoop’s half day conference, which will work with members and HP to improve business and profitability.

In addition to the Dscoop conference, lots of other equally exciting exhibitors are expected to be in attendance at this year’s print show. Press leader KBA is back in attendance, showing off its line of advanced offset presses perfect for commercial printing services. RIT professor and industry guru Frank Romano will also review and discuss important and upcoming products and technology related to print. Oce Canada will also be on hand to show off its wide format stationery printers at Print World this November, while Rapid X1, the world’s fastest digital label press, will make its debut at November’s Print World.

Taking place from November 17 – 19, Print World 2012 will be held at Toronto’s Exhibition Place and welcomes industry partners and exhibitors of digital, bindery, offset, and inkjet equipment.
