Downsview Park holds Nature Play sessions

Kids often love spending time outdoors, no matter how cold it may be. Downsview parents who would like to “get back to nature” with their son or daughter are invited to bundle them up and head to Downsview Park for a morning of play and other activities.

The Nature Play session has been planned so that it will offer unstructured fun for the kids that also includes a chance to learn more about the world around them. It also encourages them to socialize and play as a group.

One of the components of this activity that makes it a little bit different is that it will follow a hands-off approach from the parents and other adults. This way, they kids can explore at their own speed and have fun doing so.

Since the session will be held outdoors, proper clothing is recommended. It will not be stroller friendly, and the organizers have asked that Fido be left at home. More information about the program will be distributed to parents after they register, and pamphlets that provide more details can be prepared for an event like this by a brochure printing company.

The participants in this afternoon of hands-on fun are asked to gather at 70 Canuck Avenue at 2:00 pm. It will be taking place on February 24th.
