Edmonton to host crafting event for grandparents and grandchildren

December 16, 2018 by

An Edmonton-area event is set to provide grandparents the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of creativity with their grandchildren.

The class, which is being hosted by Arts and Heritage St. Albert, will give attendees a space and time to craft a keepsake made out of clay that they can take home with them. Staff will be on hand to assist, and materials needed to complete the projects will be provided.

Participants in the workshop will be making clay ornaments. They will be able to paint them and have them fired so they can be taken home as a keepsake. Spaces on the workshop are limited, so interested parties are encouraged to book quickly. The event is suitable for children between the ages of 3 and 8.

Occasions like this can be an opportunity for kids and their grandparents to create memories they can share for a lifetime. Leaflets can be sent to local households to make them aware of when and where events like this are taking place, and these can be supplied by an area flyer printing company.

Tickets for the afternoon of crafting are available for $20.00 each. The workshop will be held on February 23rd at the St. Albert Place Pottery Studio in St. Albert.
