The 5th annual ‘Words: The Literary and Creative Arts Festival’ is taking place in London for three days.

The festival is set to feature ‘In Conversation’ sessions with authors, readings, workshops, and a book expo. Some of the authors who will be taking part in this year’s festival are Emma Donoghue, author of The Room, Lisa Moore (Giller Prize nominee), Jan Urquhart (The Underpainter), and Nino Ricci, Governor General’s Literary Award winner.

Authors will also lead workshops. In addition, the London Writers Today lecture will talk with four local poets who will read from some of their works.

The Book Expo is set to feature over 40 local writers who will be showcasing and selling their works.

The Festival will kick off this Friday, November 2 with a reception at Museum London from 7:00 to 9:30 PM. Guests will enjoy snacks, a cash bar and a discussion between Janice Zolf and Emma Donoghue. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and $15 or $20 for students.

London flyer printing firms often help to advertise events like this by providing their products.
