Mississauga’s the place to be for Halloween-themed fun

This Halloween, Mississauga’s youngsters, as well as its residents who are young at heart, can visit Celebration Square for an afternoon of safe trick-or-treating.

The organizers of the festivities have included games and activities for all ages in the plans for the occasion, and there will also be lots of opportunities to go shelling out for candy in Sweet Tooth Central. Support for the event has been provided by the city as well as Pepsi and Alectra, and all are welcome.

When they arrive at the square, families can try out the giant games that will be set up throughout the site. They can play super-sized Hungry Hippos, Jenga, a 10-foot-tall Etch-a-Sketch and Connect 4, while the video game lovers in the crowd can head to the video screen area to show off their gaming sills. There will also be a puppet show, photo booth and Candy Corn Carts.

The fun is scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon, and will keep on going until 3:00 pm. Festive decorations can add the final touch to an event like this, and a local banner printing company will be able to provide them.

Celebration Square will be hosting this community Halloween party on October 27. The city’s website is the place to go for further details.
