The 6th annual Spero Gala is taking place early next month in Edmonton, and is a fundraiser for the Action Coalition on Human Trafficking (ACT) Alberta. The host for the night is Nancy Carlson from Global News.

The event is set to feature guest speakers and a theatrical production. There will also be a question and answer session related to ACT Alberta. Guests will be served hors d’oeuvres and dessert, and will have access to a cash bar. In addition, a silent art auction featuring the works of local artists will be held throughout the evening, as well as a raffle.

Guests will also enjoy a performance of the play ‘Do You See Me?’ from Poiema Productions.

ACT Alberta seeks to educate the public about human trafficking in Alberta and around the world. The organization also provides training to service providers and manage the Victims Assistance Fund. In addition, the organization collects data on human trafficking that can be passed on to governments.

Edmonton flyer printing firms often help to advertise charity events like this by providing printed flyers that can easily be distributed in the community.

The Spero Gala will be held at the ATB Financial Arts Barns on October 4, beginning at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $50 until this Sunday, September 30 and $60 at the door. Contact Catherine Konanz at 780-474-1104 to find out more.
