Halifax Small Business Week is taking place for five days next month. There are several events taking place that will be presented by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and BDC. All of the events are free.

The first event planned for this year is the Exploring Entrepreneurship seminar. It will take place at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront on October 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. It will be the perfect opportunity for people to network with their business peers, as well as get advice from successful business leaders from the community.

The next day will be the Downtown Halifax Small Business Expo. It will be held in the Brewery Square Courtyard from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. A number of downtown Halifax small businesses will be showcasing their products and/or services. Call 902-444-1510 for more information.

On October 17, the Networking in Motion event will be held in Paul O’Regan Hall from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Guests will learn about a new networking app while being served a variety of diverse foods.

Other events taking place will include a breakfast mixer at the CIBC, free business training sessions and a business after hours reception.

To advertise business events in Halifax, local print shops are often asked to provide flyers to be distributed in the community.
